Anunciamos que nuestro compañero y amigo el Prof. Eduardo Mizraji, ha  ganado el premio al mejor artículo publicado en año 2008 en el International Journal of General Systems.

La figura consular del Prof. George J. Klir así lo ha anunciado en el Editorial del último número de la revista:

" This year, for the second time, we select the best paper published 
in the International Journal of General Systems over the previous 
year. This selection is based on nominations from members of our 
Editorial Board, as well as the Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor, 
and the best paper is the one that receives the largest number of 
nominations. I am pleased to announce that the winner of the 2008 Best 
Paper Award is Eduardo Mizraji for his paper, "Neural Memories and 
Search Engines", published in 37(6), pp. 715-732."

El artículo en cuestión, elabora una teoría que pone de manifiesto una 
desconcertante similitud formal entre los métodos utilizados por los 
motores de búsqueda en la World Wide Web, y las estrategias de 
búsqueda de información de nuestros sistemas neurocognitivos en los 
modelos de memorias asociativas distribuidas.
